My overdue christmas post

Oops, I know it is a little late but I still want to share a little about our Christmas this year. It was FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!

Have you ever had so much fun that you forgot to take pictures or most of the moments were so priceless that a picture just wouldn’t do? Well that is what happened to me over Christmas thus the reason for very few pics/videos. Let me just lay out Christmas for ya.

Day 1 Christmas eve
Jeff and I were dashing through the snow, in our little Honda, over the hills we went with me telling him to go faster all the way. I wanted to arrive asap so that we could hear the annual “Christmas at Grandmothers House” poem.
Once we arrived my G/G Rallison were there along with my Aunt Joan. My Grandpa read the story from Luke in which I almost cried my eyes out because I just love watching my grandpa. Throughout the weekend I found myself just looking at him trying to create still shots in my mind to remember the moments.

Day 2 Christmas day
We slept in until 9:00 and got our stockings. Inside Jeff and Chances was silly string and of course they busted them out and had a little war (see video below) My dad is so creative, a few years ago he had us unwrap toy dart guns and we had tons of fun running around the living room shooting each other for 15 min. We unwrapped the most glorious presents; one of our favorites being our new dish gloves posted in the pic below. I am not sure if Jeff’s are for doing the dishes or for milking the cow that we keep next door?? Jeff wrote me the most precious poem and scored ton’s of points!!!
We then had our annual Christmas dinner that included succulent salmon cooked on the grill. It was supper snowy that day so we didn’t go to the movies like we usually do but instead we took naps, played rock band and relaxed.

Day 3
Movie day. We saw Benjamin Buttons and played outside.

Day 4
Brooke had to go home (so sad). We built the louge run this year with our own two hands due to the massive amount of snow we had the snow blower bit the dust. I think that it turned out pretty good myself.

Day 5
Church and relaxation

Day 6 Family party day.
The annual Rallison family Christmas party held in Franklin, Idaho. I was lucky enough to be able to hitch a ride on my cousin Tyler’s Snowmobile to the top of the mountain and watch my other cousin-in-law snow board down. It was way too much fun other than the times when I thought for sure I was going to die. Yet, if there is anyone I trust on a snowmobile it is Tyler and ladies he is single!!! We arrived to the top of the mountain just in time to see the sun setting. I was really sad that I didn’t bring my camera!!!

You had a gorgeous winter wonderland in Preston over Christmas vacation. Your tubing, tobaggan slide is awesome! Thank you, Shelley and Jeff, for sharing some of your fun holiday activities. . .

I also loved your Dad's blog, Shelley. He's so talented and diversified!

Love you two,
Moma B

Hi again, Kids! I just reviewed your Dad's blog (just click on "Dado" under "Family" blogs) and was reminded that the Hart family snow slide is actually a "luge." It was mostly hand dug by Jeff and Sy this year! Great job, guys!

Your dad's photos and videos are also excellent, "Jelley!" Family, be sure to view his wonderful blog. . .

Con amor,
Mamacita
