Happy 6th Anniversary

The Roof restaurant at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building

Jeff and I have been married for 6 years. Way to go us, that is a pretty long time.

Our weekend:
Saturday--Dinner at the Brick oven and a movie, Twilight (which I enjoyed because I am the only one in the world who has not read the books) Once seated at the brick oven Jeff went to the restroom and I waited at the table for the server.
Once she arrived she said "Welcome to the CRACKER BARREL, I will be your server tonight." I said "wait, where am I?" She was completely embarrassed and said, "lets try that again" she then walked away, turned around, walked back and said, "welcome to the brick oven." Too funny

Sunday-hung out with Jeff's family in SLC

Monday--It was a stormy day but we traveled to SLC because we had free movie tickets to a Larry Miller theater. So we ended up watching Knowing (a very, very lame movie only worth it if you are getting it free or super cheap)
We then splurged and Jeff took me to the Roof Resturant at the top of the Joseph Smith Memorial building. It was all about the atmosphere because the food wasn't that grand. It was an elegant buffet with a slight step up from the golden coral.

But, OH, what an awesome atmosphere looking down on temple square, Shelley and Jeff! It's beautiful and inspiring. . . They should be sure that the food is exceptional, too, though.

Thank you for sharing your anniversary weekend!

Love always,
Mom

yup youre right. the nastalga of eating at the roof is cool but the food isnt any better then golden coral. i think they even have chiken fried stake. my guess is that all these mormon have been raised on cafeteria food so the dont know what flavorful is. your weekend sounded realy fun. i'm glad we were a part of it. at first i didnt know how purposless jeff was in his choice of directions. i thought he was verging on lost. i kept trying to figure out how to help him. good thing i eventualy caught on. i like the video.he is an oh so pretty ballerina! you should post pictures on your blog moreoften. i check it 100 times before you post again each time.
