GUESS WHAT!!!??????

After 6.75 years of marriage and 5 years of trying...we are finally having a BABY!! It is due July 10, 2010.

There were no technical difficulties getting the #10 top reason why Jeff loves me for my birthday. I just didn't want to spill the beans until Christmas.
Below is a pic of Baby Brown taken at 10 weeks and 4 days. I am currently 12 weeks along. I really haven't felt nauseated, however the smell of meat gets to me.
So please, those who have been in my shoes leave a message of your recommendations on baby birthing, products, best practices, etc. I have been experiencing problems with air building up in my stomach so if you have any insights about that they would be much appreciated.

Congratulations! Being pregnant is great. I got bubbles in my stomach and the only thing that really helped was drinking soda and just burping them out. Good luck, you will be such a great Mommy!

SHELLEY!! I'm so happy for you!!! Of course everyone with kids will have tons of unsolicited advice for you. July babies are the best. Are you finding out what you are having? We need to chat. BTW my cousin says you are a favorite CI at school, everyone really likes you.

Shelley, the best remedy is simply organic apple cider vinegar diluted in water or apple cider. . . If needed, a little baking soda in water can be taken for indigestion or illness if A.C. vinegar not handy. Avoid Tums and meds. Olive Leaf (www.olivus.com)and Oregano Oil are excellent for many conditions.

Raspberry leaf (tea or capsules), alfalfa, chlorophyll, and kelp are valuable for your health and baby. Focus on a variety of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and quality proteins, avoiding milk. Salmon, mackrel, cold pressed olive oil (organic nice), avocados and other good fats; omega fats. . . You know!

Relax, you'll do fine! ENJOY your pregnancy, Kids! ! ! LOVE YOU !

Congrats Shelley! My mom ran into your mom at Dr. Kelley's office and your mom proudly showed her the sonogram...she's so excited for you! I hated being pregnant, but that was because I was so sick for 7 out of the 9 months. However, labor was amazing...I loved it. Really, I think you will find what is best for you and you will be an amazing mom! :)

Congrats!! That is awesome. Children are wonderful, hard, but wonderful. I was sick all of the time, so that is great that you aren't. I would start reading "What to Expect When your Expecting" and find some books with pictures of your baby and how it is developing. Those were my favorites. Hope you continue to feel great and Congrats again.
