Just wanted to let you know that the contraption in the background is our counter top dishwasher (also found on craigslist.) Many mistake it for an enormous microwave:)Jeff and I bought a table on craigslist last night for a GREAT deal!! Since we have been using a card table for the last 6 years of our marriage I thought is was time for a little up grade. We have been keeping our eye out for a new couch because our old one is getting pretty dingy and we found this cute little table:
Things I love about it:
Love that it is tall
love that is is compact because our kitchen is very small
Love the bar stools because you can push them under the table and they are out of the way
Love the color (black)
Love that it is sturdy (real wood not one of those vynal covered partical boards)
Love that it is easily transported and assembled
Jeff is getting used to the fact that the chairs don't have backs

RECIPE FOR COMMUNICATION BLISS
This recipe will help you keep the communication in your marriage uplifting and edifying.
INGREDIENTS
1. One pair of listening ears
2. A heaping cup of communicating in loving, positive ways
3. Measure challenges openly and calmly
4. A dash of “I’m Sorry” here and there when needed
5. Do not use criticism & ceaseless pinpricking
DIRECTIONS
6. Measure words carefully; adding heaping cups of understanding using generous amounts of time and patience
7. Stir well and remove any specks of jealousy, temper or criticism
8. Cook on low - DO NOT ALLOW IT TO BOIL OVER
9. Never serve with a cold shoulder or a hot tongue
10. Celebrate when golden

Oh my goodness, that is so funny...I was looking at craigslist just the other day and I saw that table and chairs!! I thought it was really cute but not what we are looking for...I check every so often because I want a new dining room table too!
