Jeff, Mama B and Darren at Shoshone falls. We have seen this many times before but because of all the rain we were told we had to see it in all of its glory. So we made the trip down after eating at one of our favorite places, Garabaldies.
We played Frisbee golf twice. Once at rock creek park and once at the CSI course. Darren and Brent had to search for lost frisbee's several times.
There is always something new to see in the Twin Falls area so we decided that this time it would be dead horse caves. Jeff had been there as a young scout so we googled driving directions and were on our way. We finally found the correct "random dirt road" and drove down it for a long time until we couldn't drive any longer due to a large mud hole. We decided that since we had come so far the cave had to be close by. So we walked about 1 mile in the heat of the day until we finally found the nice, cool, smokey smelling cave.

It was an adventure for sure! There were no crazy animals or dead horses inside but there had been a large rock fall of the ceiling since Jeff had been there last, which of course made me even more excited to be exploring the large dark cave:)
Getting ready for fireworks. We met up with our good friends Jeremy and Sasha; with their twin girls and 3 year old Spencer. We watched an awesome show and then went to the Orton's for more fun fireworks afterward.

Hi Shelley and Jeff! Great job of blogging your photos and highlights of our July 4th weekend. . . Your explanation of our trek to Dead Horse Caves was especially well done. Darren and I enjoyed having you visit us and look forward to seeing you at our Brown and Bastow Reunions in the next few weeks. . .
Love,
Mamacita and Darren
